Handmold Old World Tiles

Handmold Tile is authentic hand-formed clay tile characterized by irregular edges, corners and surface variations. Rich tones and inviting textures enhance both traditional and contemporary interiors. If you love the quality of old historic tile, you’ll love Handmold.

Handmold Renaissance – Highly variegated glazes exhibiting a distinctive combination of matte, stone like finishes with random areas of gloss.

Handmold Reflections – Transparent glazes that exhibit shades of concentrated color, accentuated by the random pressures of hand forming.

Handmold Old World – Traditional opaque glazes with variation in shading unique to an authentic, hand-molded, one-at-a-time process.

SenecaSelect – Handmold tiles in a soothing palette of field tile colors that complement the high relieve decorative concept collections of Chateau, Vineyard & Bistro.

Handmold Tile is offered in a full line of colors, sizes, shapes and trim. Download the brochure for full details.

We used the Hand Mold Old World throughout our home in Brown County Indiana. Guest bath floor, Master bath sink surround, floor, shower walls, mudroom and kitchen back splash for the Viking Stove and the back splash all around the kitchen cabinets. It looks fabulous 14 years later. I mop the floors with a 7 generations bath cleaner. They have not lost any luster or shine and I think they will be there for the next 100 plus years. I am very happy with this surface. Daren and Dave Redman, Brown County, IND. The colors are very bright and cheerful in Artic White and periwinkle.

We used the Handmold in color Peacock in a herringbone pattern throughout our renovated kitchen floor in Houston, Texas. The kitchen is quiet, with pale gray cabinets, gray/white quartzite counters, and stainless steel appliances. The rich watery color of the pool blue adds a wonderfully clean freshness to the kitchen, ( we need all the “cool” we can get in this climate) while the Handmold tiles keep a classic old world feeling throughout. I have used Seneca products on past projects and I love the superb quality and the fact they are handmade in Ohio. Wish I could post a photo!

We remodeled our kitchen in the early 1990’s. I discovered Seneca Handmold Tiles at Hamilton-Parker, in Columbus, OH and decided that I had to have Reflection tiles for the kitchen floor. 25 years later and the tile has held up beautifully, but beyond that, it has also transcended time. We are preparing to remodel our kitchen once again and every person we have had over to interview about the job has asked “You are going to keep this tile flooring…aren’t you???? It’s obvious that it’s great tile…it still looks great….and it has performed well….
I have to say that, it’s a testament to Seneca, that the designer in me doesn’t want something new…but, I love it that much that I want to keep it, knowing that I’ll love it for another 25 years.
